Eng Kee Fried Chicken Wings 榮記炸鷄翅膀

Name : Eng Kee Fried Chicken Wings 榮記炸鷄翅膀
Address : 117 Commonwealth Drive #01-711

Cuisine : Chicken Wings

Recommended to me by a friend/colleague. He keep going on about these "legendary" chicken wings! So decided to try out one day.

Entered along Queensway, when you go in, very soon you will see a giant signboard with chicken wing. Arrived at about 6.15pm and there was already a queue of about 4-5 people. The stall uncle sells bee hoon, fried mee, all the usual economic bee hoon style and of course the chicken wings! The kitchen beside was like a chicken wing "churring" machine, keep coming out with more and more wings. This was good, as your wings are always pipping hot! The uncle will SNIP SNIP SNIP, cut everything up and even lay it nicely on the plate for you!

As it reaches about 7pm, the queue got longer! It stayed a constant of about 8-10 people. And a little observation will tell you that everyone was ordering chicken wings by the "truck full". The wings looks normal, but the skin is very tasty. The meat inside varies from day to day though.

Each wings cost $1.20, so its still quite ok. I think my friend mentioned that it starts it business about 5.30pm to 6pm. Do check it out if you are around the area!
